Czech Republic: qualified suppliers for public authority tenders

Czech Republic

Businesses which regularly tender for contracts with public authorities should consider becoming registered on the list of qualified suppliers.

To join the list, a business must show that it meets the basic qualification criteria. Once registered, a business participating in the tender process need only show that it is registered on the list rather than having to show that it meets the qualification criteria all over again.

Already registered businesses need to partially update their registration annually in the first quarter of the year, i.e. now by 31 March 2007, by showing that no tax is due to public authorities, otherwise they cease to be registered on the list.
