New procurement thresholds from 1 January 2014

United Kingdom

The thresholds applicable from 1 January 2014 to public and utilities procurements under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006, the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 and the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 and Scottish equivalents have been published.

The figures are updated every two years, and revalued as necessary to ensure consistency with the thresholds used for the WTO Government Procurement Agreement. The thresholds from 1 January 2014 denominated in euros have increased, but exchange rate fluctuations mean that the equivalents in sterling have decreased.
