PSR has published the interim report for its market review into scheme and processing fees.  It is seeking views on the provisional findings and proposed approach to remedies to help inform the final report.

This BIS working paper proposes a flexible, centralised, and layered transaction monitoring framework for pattern recognition and anomaly detection in high value payment systems, leveraging data-driven and non-linear machine learning tools.

To meet its FSMA 2023 requirement, PSR has published a review framework for keeping under review its generally applicable requirements as its statement of policy.

PSR is consulting on draft guidance setting out how it proposes to make decisions on whether to grant an extension or exemption to a specific direction or requirement.  Responses are required by 4 June 2024.

TSC has now published the text of a letter from PSR in which Chris Hemsley follows up on questions raised at a TSC hearing in February.  The letter sets out information on the regulator’s enforcement powers.
