The greening of BRI: CMS videocast

International

Long-term environmental sustainability of BRI projects is a key aspect of BRI 2.0 and is a key metric by which investors will decide where to invest, and by which governments will rate the success of a project. China has recently pledged to be carbon neutral by 2060. It also has the world’s largest renewable energy sector and so it has the green credentials to champion the greening of BRI in all sectors.

How can BRI projects be structured to be more sustainable, does digitisation have a role and what does green financing mean in reality for BRI? In this videocast, CMS China Managing Partner Ulrike Gluck asks these questions, and more, to CMS energy and infrastructure experts Munir Hassan and Adrian Wong.
